The Sales Funnel – The Broad Outline

Sales Funnel is the sales process people go through when they become interested in an online offer.

There are several steps in this process.

Let’s have a look at the broad outline of the steps involved

Capture Page:(sometimes called landing page or squeeze page)

Generally a capture page is the page that people land on when they are interested in an offer. It has some writing on it and its function is to collect email addresses of people interested in your offer and to send prospects to the next pages in the Sales Process. People who put their email addresses in are either buyers or leads.
A software program called an Autoresponder is attached to this page to automate the process of collecting emails.
Bridge Page or Thankyou Page

This page:
1. Introduces who you are
2. Thanks the lead for being interested in the offer
3. Pre-frames them for the sales page
4. Teaches something

It can be in the form of a video or writing.

 Sales Page
This page has information on the offer and an add to cart button to take the prospect to the order page.

 Order Page
People fill in a form if interested in the offer.
